BET Award winning act Stonebwoy Burnington is feeling great! The Can’t Cool Can’t Quench singer few hours after winning this year’s BET Best International Act award jumped on KOD’s 360 Live to thank Africa, Ghana and Bhim Nation for all the support.
Livingstone Etse Satekla also dedicated his award to the June 3rd flood victims before reacting to Fuse’s decision not to attend the awards.
The Off Da Ground artist who also played at the Glastonbury Concert in London tweeted at BET;
“Dear @BET, the reason why I didn’t come is because you give our awards backstage! You have no respect for our hard work and achievements.”
But Stonebwoy threw his support behind the organizers of the prestigious awards saying;
“There’s issues everywhere and every day and no awards organizer can get everything they plan to be a hundred percent.” Stonebwoy said. “So you check yourself and see if you want to come or not. You the nominee has the best reasons as to whether you will attend or back off.
“But I’m here and I have my reasons to back my decision to be here and I trust he also has good reason to back the decision not be here. Aside that no award can be hundred percent and that also doesn’t mean we the nominees that came don’t know what we are about.” He defended his decision.
