New fragrance alert. Nicki Minaj is showing off her Trini pride with her latest fragrance, Trini Girl, dropping on the Home Shopping Network.
With flags for Trinidad and Tobago, the United Kingdom, and the U.S., Onika shared her joy on Instagram. “So excited to launch my newest fragrance #TriniGirl 🇹🇹~ available NOW in the U.K. 🇬🇧 and Oct 20th in the US 🇺🇸via @HSN on The Beauty Report. I’m proud to be an #IslandGirl. What r u proud of?”
Nicki fans will love the Trini Girl bottle, which mirrors Minaj’s likeness, including her trademark bangs.
Of course, this isn’t the first time Nicki has teamed with HSN for a fragrance. In 2014, she also released Minajesty “Exotic Edition.”
But this fragrance isn’t the only thing Nicki’s selling. The multi-hyphenate superstar is also promoting Beats’ no-strings headphones. Joining DJ Khaled, Young M.A., Pharrell, Amber Rose, Travis Scott, and Michael Phelps, Nicki appears in a new ad that also features the Pinocchio classic “I’ve Got No Strings.”
It looks like Nicki season is in full effect. Earlier this week, Minaj announced that more features are on the way and that her forthcoming Pinkprint follow-up is already sounding “epic.”
“The album is so freaking epic,” she said, “but it’s a journey. Before my first album came out, I was on everybody’s song. I had my own campaign without realizing it. Right now, I have to complete a few things for other people…What that does, throughout my career, it makes me get back to my fun side and it makes me push my pen.”
