Yesterday, Kwaw Kese shared a photograph of students who campaigned for his freedom during his tussle with the state.
He asked that Marijuana be legalized since cigarettes were more hazardous but were legal.
The Yakubu rapper wrote on his instagram;
“Thanks to these #MadTimerS for that support when they arrested me for enjoying my choice of smoke. I think it’s time to legalize #Taaba so that those 80% who shhhmoke in Gh can enjoy their choice of smoke without any interventions!!! Why should a person be jailed for smoking when it’s their choice??? After all cigarettes are poisonous and harmful but it’s for sale!!! #legalize #Ntampee now !!! #Yakubu”
Kwaw Kese has ‘apologized’ for his earlier call for the legalization of illegal substance marijuana in Ghana.
“I am sorry for my early comments about #Natmpelegalization!!! Many are insulting and more misquoting. Am not advocating for anyone to go and smoke But I believe we all know a lot of us that smoke. My family not happy about the post, so I took it off”
