FUTURE SCORES FOURTH NO. 1 ALBUM

Draco season with the top spot. This week, Future nabs his fourth straight No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with his recently-unveiled self-titled LP.

The project, released Feb. 17, opens atop the coveted chart after selling 140,000 equivalent album units (60,000 traditional) in its first week of availability.

His last three albums have done the same, starting with 2015’s DS2, continuing months later with his Drake joint project What a Time to Be Alive, and rounding out with his 2016 album, EVOL.

But this could be the start of something unprecedented for Future, who also dropped HNDRXX on Feb. 24. If HNDRXX tops the chart, it would not only be his fifth No. 1. It would also make him the first artist with back-to-back No. 1 debuts in consecutive weeks.

Following his performance at the Grammys, Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic jumps up to No. 2 with 59,000 units. Fifty Shades Darker’s soundtrack — which boasts appearances by Nicki Minaj (“Bom Bidi Bom”), The-Dream (“Code Blue”), and John Legend (“One Woman Man”) — hits No. 3 with 53,000 units.

Perhaps also boosted by the Grammys, The Weeknd’s Starboy shoots to No. 4 with just over 50,000 units. Elsewhere, Migos’ Culture rain drops 4-5 (50,000), Big Sean’s I Decided. moves 3-6 (49,000), and Charlie Wilson’s In It to Win It debuts at No. 7 (48,000).
