Beyoncé goes out with a bang.
Capping off one of the year’s biggest worldwide treks, Queen Bey delivered a star-studded finale to her “Formation World Tour” on Friday (Oct. 7) at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.
Fans, including Frank Ocean, Hugh Jackman, Tyler Perry, Misty Copeland, and more, looked on all night as Beyoncé delivered show-stopping surprises, including appearances by Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar, and Serena Williams.
With a career-spanning set, Bey was joined by her husband during “Drunk in Love” for a warm, playful, and sexy duet, one that included a hug and a kiss at the end. Meanwhile, K-Dot came through for the fiery “Freedom” while splashing in the water-filled set. Serena also surprised fans, acting as a dancer for “Sorry” in real life, much like she does in the song’s video.
This wasn’t originally set to be the tour’s finale. However, Beyoncé was making up for postponing this stop last month. During the set, she paused to thank the crowd.
“I have so much energy because of you guys feeding it to me,” she explained. “I really wanted to make this show special…This is definitely my dream right here. I dreamt that I would be doing this and I’m actually doing it, and I could not be here without you and your support.”
But even before Beyoncé’s set, the surprises arrived. DMX and Ja Rule were among those in attendance and prior to the show, they were photographed alongside Jay and DJ Khaled. Sans Khaled, it was a throwback to the trio’s days as Murder Inc.
Once Khaled hit the stage, he brought more surprises with cameos from Ma$e, T.I., Ja Rule, August Alsina, Young M.A., Fetty Wap, Remy Ma, The LOX, and A Boogie.

First things first. B's boots are insanely dope. Lol. Next thing… Follow my snap: Kodaklens. Lol The Final day of the Formation World Tour was nothing short of Epic. The Jay, X and Ja reunion.. Wow. New artist like A Boogie & Young M. A. came through and blessed us. Not to mention Ma$e, DJ Mustard & Fetty Wop joined us for the 1st time as well and killed it. Thanks to The LOX too. This pic may seem random but the people in it are certainly not. It happened right before we exited MetLife stadium at 1am or something still on a high from the show. The artist in this pic like T.I., Remy and August came to several shows, held us down and performed just for the love. As did all the others. You can't buy that. The We The Best Team including Justin from Roc is in here as well who held Khaled down. DJ Nasty kept it together on the turntables even though we never followed the show script. Lol. Ivan for capturing the historic moments. Terrel & Smokes kept Khaled fresh to death. My brother, Jay, who we can't thank enough for standing on the side of the stage for every show and coached Khaled & I through the performances. He also took a pic with EVERY guest artist that came through. Lol. Applaud him for that. Steve Pamon, Melissa & Larry from Parkwood for making sure we were good!!!! Anyway, I'm not tryin to do any long dumb thank you speech. It's important for me to point out and thank those who work hard and deserve it. They often aren't acknowledged or applauded cause they're behind the scenes. Khaled, they said we couldn't do it. We showed them better than we could tell them. Kiko, I'm sick you not in this. I feel like I just came off a Michael Jackson tour. Lol. Beyonce is 1 of the greatest to ever do it.. Ever! Love you, B. Queen Bey may be done with the “Formation World Tour,” but there could be more music on the horizon. Mr. and Mrs. Carter are rumored to be releasing a joint project in the near future.
